Funded initially by the personal resources of a few individuals, the activities of the Trust are today supported by the Indian government, international development agencies, NGOs, and charitable organizations from several countries.
The financial affairs of the Trust are audited regularly. The continuing support from organizations with high standards of accountability is testimony to the good stewardship of resources provided by others.
We pride ourselves on having a dedicated and motivated team and a committed Board of Trustees. We are deeply grateful to all our well-wishers, supporters, individual donors and also to the Tamil Nadu and Central Government. They all are financially supporting the work of the Trust and have been generous with their advice.
The core team consist of Board of Trustees, The Director, Project Coordinator, Two Social workers, Accountant, 4 Community representatives (2 male and 2 female), 4 Senior students (2 boys and 2 girls). For the day to day affairs, the project director along with the project Coordinator and social workers will be responsible for implementation of the program. Each alternate month a meeting of the core team will be gathered at the center. A monthly report will be prepared on the program and the expenses involved for the program during the month.
Core team will be responsible in disbursing the funds for the project. The funds will be directly monitored by the Project Director and Project coordinator. The expenses will be recorded and maintained in the regular project cash book. A monthly financial report will be given along with the activity report. This will be reviewed during monthly meetings.
